The duo of CeeLo Green and Danger Mouse will headline a nine-city tour across North America starting November 5 in San Francisco and ending November 28 in Chicago. The trek supports their third and final album, 'Atlanta,' released in March. Tickets go on sale September 24 via Live Nation.
The nine-city trek spans venues from San Francisco's Masonic to Chicago's House of Blues, with stops in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Detroit, Boston, Silver Spring, Toronto, and New York. It marks the duo's first live appearances since their September 2008 set at Austin City Limits, ending an 18-year performance hiatus.
Atlanta serves as the concluding chapter of a trilogy that began with 2006's Grammy-nominated St. Elsewhere, whose single "Crazy" reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and held the U.K. chart top spot for nine weeks. The pair had long planned a third album but cited intervening life events and creative projects before reuniting last year to finish it.
This reunion tour could rekindle mainstream attention for mid-2000s alternative R&B and hip-hop, potentially introducing Gnarls Barkley's catalog to younger listeners who missed their original run.
