Legal AI Startup Chamelio Raises $26M as Revenue Surges

Chamelio raised $26 million in Series A funding led by Entrée Capital, just five months after its seed round, as the legal AI startup reports annual recurring revenue quadrupling. The company's platform uses AI agents to handle contract drafting, review, and legal workflows for in-house teams. Customers include Wiz, monday.com, and Socure.
The company was founded in 2024 by Alex Zilberman, Gal Lellouche, and Gil Banyas, who previously served as general counsel. Chamelio's platform integrates with widely used business tools including Salesforce, Slack, and NetSuite, allowing legal workflows to operate within existing corporate systems. The startup's customer base spans several prominent technology firms, including Wiz, monday.com, Socure, AppsFlyer, and Wonderful.ai. The Series A round included participation from existing backers Work-Bench and Emerge Ventures, with Bright Pixel Capital joining as a new investor. Funding will support the company's legal action model, engineering hires, and migration tools designed to help clients transition away from legacy legal software.
This funding round may signal growing investor confidence in AI systems that do more than assist lawyers—platforms that actively execute legal work. If such tools become widely adopted, in-house legal teams could shift from routine contract handling toward higher-level oversight, potentially changing job structures within corporate law departments. Smaller companies without large legal staffs may gain access to sophisticated contract management previously reserved for bigger firms, though this could also raise questions about accountability when AI agents make autonomous decisions on binding agreements.
