KATSEYE Documentary 'Wild Hearts' Gets Streaming Release Date on Disney+ and Hulu
The KATSEYE film 'KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS' will debut on Disney+ and Hulu on Oct. 16 after a limited theatrical run in August. The documentary includes never-before-seen footage and interviews with the group members, focusing on their connection with fans. It was directed by Nadia Hallgren and produced by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures.
The documentary's streaming debut arrives roughly two months after its limited theatrical engagement, timed to the group's ongoing Wildworld tour, which began in Dublin on Sept. 1 and resumes in North America on Oct. 13 in Miami. The film traces the members' path from the 2023 reality competition Dream Academy—previously chronicled in the Netflix series Pop Star Academy: Katseye—through their rise to a Billboard 200 No. 1 with the WILD EP, which was released just two days after the film's August theatrical drop.
Directed by Nadia Hallgren, known for the documentary Becoming, the project was produced by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures in partnership with HYBE x Geffen. The synopsis frames it as a tribute to the group's fanbase, EYEKONS, incorporating fan-submitted videos alongside intimate interviews with members Daniela Avanzini, Yoonchae, Lara Raj, Megan Skinediel, and currently on-hiatus members Manon Bannerman and Sophia Laforteza.
This release could deepen the parasocial connection between KATSEYE and their EYEKONS fanbase, offering a behind-the-scenes view that may strengthen fan loyalty and expand the group's reach to streaming audiences who missed the theatrical run.
