Apple Adds TV+ and Arcade to India's Rs 75 iCloud+ Tier
Apple has bundled its Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade services into the entry-level iCloud+ subscription in India, keeping the price at Rs 75 per month. The two services previously cost Rs 99 each separately. The upgrade accompanies the release of iOS 27.
The bundled offering marks a notable shift in Apple's India pricing strategy, as the company has historically kept iCloud+ at Rs 75 while raising hardware prices. By folding two Rs 99 services into the entry-level tier, Apple effectively delivers roughly Rs 198 worth of monthly services for Rs 75, a significant value increase for Indian subscribers.
The base iCloud+ plan continues to include 50GB of cloud storage alongside the new entertainment access. Apple TV+ provides streaming content including original shows and films, while Apple Arcade offers a catalog of games. The upgrade arrived alongside the iOS 27 release, suggesting Apple is positioning services as a core growth driver in price-sensitive markets like India.
This bundling could reshape how Indian consumers perceive Apple's ecosystem, making the entry cost of accessing premium entertainment far more accessible. Budget-conscious users who previously avoided separate subscriptions may now adopt Apple services, potentially increasing Apple's recurring revenue in a market where Android dominates.
