The S2 FE 5G appears positioned as a trimmed-down follow-up to the premium S2 5G that arrived in India earlier. Reported specifications include a 6.83-inch display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, and a 10,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging. The device is also said to carry IP68 and IP69 durability ratings alongside an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The October 6 event, scheduled for 12 PM IST, will also host the V80 5G, which targets camera-focused creators. The S2 FE, by contrast, is aimed at performance and value buyers, arriving in Black and Green color options. Both launches underscore Vivo's push to cover multiple price segments in India's competitive smartphone market.
