Xiaomi has announced that the Redmi 17C 5G will launch in India on October 1, 2026, as confirmed via a post on X. The phone features a rectangular camera island with two vertically arranged sensors and a water drop notch for the selfie camera. It is expected to retain the same specifications as the global variant.
The Redmi 17C 5G arrives in India following the recent domestic rollout of the Redmi 17 5G, Redmi Note 17 5G, and Redmi Note 17 Pro. The device made its global debut in Singapore during August 2026, with the Indian version expected to mirror that configuration. Buyers will choose among Brown, Black, and Purple finishes.
