Cobb-Vantress shifts senior roles to support EMEA and APAC growth
Cobb-Vantress announced a leadership transition intended to support its international operations. Cobb-Vantress, a poultry genetics business, is reorganizing senior oversight for two large regions. The changes are tied to Roy Mutimer's planned 2027 retirement. Mutimer, VP for EMEA and APAC, will stay involved during the handover. President Shelby Watkins credited his contributions. Cobb, nearing 110 years in poultry breeding, said the appointments aim to maintain continuity and support growth.
The transition may affect poultry producers, breeders, and food supply chains in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific that depend on Cobb's genetics. Stable leadership could help maintain breeding-stock availability and customer support, while any disruption during the handover might influence production planning.
