Battery, Wind PPA, and Green Hydrogen Deals Lead Renewable Energy News

ML System+ signed two contracts worth PLN 17.6 million net with BESS-Group to design and build battery-storage systems in Poland, each providing 5 MW and 10 MWh for a combined 10 MW/20 MWh. Glencore agreed to buy about 820 GWh of wind-generated electricity in Poland from ERG under a corporate power-purchase agreement. Germany opened its third funding call for international renewable-hydrogen projects to support production and associated infrastructure.

ML System+ will design and build two battery-storage installations in Poland’s Podkarpackie region, at Warzyce and Niegłowice. Each is specified at 5 MW and 10 MWh, together 10 MW/20 MWh. The PLN 17.6 million net awards include its NexuView SCADA platform, presented as cyber-secure. Previously known for solar and building-integrated PV, the firm is moving storage toward commercial projects.

Glencore’s Polish wind purchase from ERG covers roughly 820 GWh under a corporate PPA. Germany’s third international green-hydrogen funding round targets production and related infrastructure abroad, aiming to support future German and European demand and international supply chains. It offers public capital to narrow early-stage cost gaps and requires credible renewable sourcing, technology, delivery plans, and supply-chain contributions.
