Forbes Middle East's 2026 ranking of the region's 50 strongest fintech companies includes 10 Egyptian firms. The listed companies processed more than $260 billion in transactions and were assessed on funding, transaction volume, active users, customer impact, geographic reach, innovation and growth. MNT-Halan has lent over $16.8 billion globally, including $6.1 billion in Egypt, and planned a 20% Egyptian IPO. Thndr served 680,000 active users and handled $5.6 billion in 2025. Valu listed in Cairo in June 2025; Paymob served over 395,000 merchants.
