EXPANDED:

RRC Athens, described as Texas’s largest park model and tiny-house dealer, has added Platinum Cottages’ Lavaca to its lineup. The 56-by-15-foot home provides 750 square feet, with a porch, living area, kitchen, bath, and two bedrooms. Its exterior uses vertical board-and-batten siding, timber porch posts, a gabled profile, a metal roof with deep overhangs, and many windows.

Inside, light wood-plank floors meet a vaulted wood-paneled ceiling. The living room includes a beige sofa, a wheeled low wooden coffee table, and an entertainment wall with an electric fireplace. The kitchen offers light-wood cabinets, stainless appliances, and a compact island with stools and storage. A galley with pantry storage connects two bedrooms, each with a walk-in closet; the shared bath sits between them. Standard residential hookups are used.
