Solar and storage financing deals headline latest renewable energy updates

Grenergy obtained $457 million in senior debt for solar and battery projects in Chile, including the Algarrobal phase and Palmas cluster. Generate Capital arranged $154.5 million in tax equity for ten community solar installations across New York and Illinois. European Energy secured DKK 291 million from Jyske Bank for a 57.4 MWp solar farm in Bedfordshire, England.

Grenergy’s package covers a Chilean portfolio pairing 446 MW of solar with 1,769 MWh of batteries.
