Crunchyroll Adds Nine Anime Series Following NYCC Reveal
During New York Comic Con 2026, Crunchyroll announced nine anime series that will join its streaming platform. The revealed titles include Everyone's Darling Has a Secret and The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn't a Guy at All. The announcement expands Crunchyroll's already large anime catalog.
Crunchyroll, founded in 1994, has grown into a major global anime streaming service. Its catalog spans Japanese anime as well as titles from China and South Korea, including hits like One Piece, Demon Slayer, Solo Leveling, and My Hero Academia. At New York Comic Con on October 9, 2026, it revealed nine upcoming additions.
The announced titles are The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn't a Guy at All, Eat Man, HERE U ARE, Everyone's Darling Has a Secret, Magical Buffs: The Support Caster is Stronger Than He Realized!, BERSERK OF GLUTTONY, The Remarried Empress, THE BOXER, and Teenage Mercenary. Some have set dates; others only release windows, mostly around 2027.
The announcement may give Crunchyroll subscribers more variety, from niche titles to established manga adaptations. Fans of yuri, action, and webtoon-based stories could find new series to follow, while smaller titles may gain wider visibility. It could also intensify competition among streaming platforms for anime licensing, potentially affecting how quickly international audiences access new shows.
