Leak points to October launch for Honor WIN 2 gaming devices

A leak suggests Honor may unveil the WIN 2 phone series and a compact gaming tablet in October 2026. The phones are said to continue the WIN, WIN RT, and WIN Turbo naming, with only two models possibly arriving at first. Reported features include a roughly 12,000mAh battery and an active fan plus vapor chamber cooling, but Honor has not confirmed the launch or specifications.
The leak, attributed to Wangzai Baishitong and dated October 9, points to an October 2026 debut for Honor’s next gaming push. The phone family is said to carry the Barrett codename and keep the WIN, WIN RT, and WIN Turbo tiers, though only two handsets may arrive first. Reported color labels include Red Blue Buff, Quick Black, and Designated Win.
Engineering samples are described with about a 12,000mAh battery, a large fan, and a broad vapor chamber. The companion WIN Pad is tipped to use an 8.4-inch OLED screen with a punch-hole and up to 240Hz refresh, plus Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Honor has not confirmed these claims.
If accurate, these devices could appeal to mobile gamers and tablet buyers who want longer play sessions and compact hardware. A high-capacity battery and active cooling may reduce charging interruptions and heat-related slowdowns, potentially changing expectations for portable gaming. A small high-refresh tablet could also attract users who prefer handheld play over larger slates. However, leaked specs may not reach retail, so benefits remain uncertain until Honor confirms details.
