SpaDeX Pair Nears Reentry as New Missions Join Launch Schedule

ISRO's SpaDeX satellites SDX01 and SDX02 are predicted to reenter around October 13. Space-Track cataloged 15 new objects in its latest daily update. The launch manifest now includes a Vulcan NROL-100 mission and Blue Origin's New Glenn Blue Ring-1, while the next launch is a Falcon 9 Starlink flight.
ISRO’s SpaDeX pair, SDX01 and SDX02, carries reentry estimates for Oct 13, with uncertainty windows of roughly half a day. Space-Track’s latest daily update added 15 catalog items and refreshed more than 27,000 element sets.
The launch list now features Blue Origin’s New Glenn Blue Ring-1 and United Launch Alliance’s Vulcan NROL-100, both listed for Dec 31. Within two days, a Falcon 9 Starlink mission from Vandenberg is followed by SpaceX’s Dragon CRS-2 SpX-35 resupply flight to the ISS.
The SpaDeX reentries and new catalog entries may sharpen public awareness of how crowded low Earth orbit has become. Satellite operators, astronomers, and aviation or maritime users could benefit from improved tracking and reentry predictions, while debris counts may fuel discussions about orbital sustainability. Upcoming Starlink, Dragon, Vulcan, and New Glenn missions could affect launch-watchers, researchers, and commercial space firms by shaping schedules, coverage, and access to orbit.
