Solana Network Activity: What Addresses, Transactions, and Fees Show

Solana's blockchain activity remains high, driven by stablecoin transfers, decentralized trading, and low transaction fees. The network recorded about 3.21 million active addresses and 118.14 million transactions in a recent 24-hour period, according to DefiLlama. However, rising counts may partly reflect automated trading rather than unique human users.
DefiLlama counted roughly 3.21 million wallets active and 118.14 million transactions in a recent day. Between November 2025 and September 2026, monthly trading wallets showing human-like behavior ranged from 4.6 million to 10.2 million.
Non-vote transactions reached 3.18 billion in September 2026, 8.3% above August, while Q3 totaled 8.78 billion, up 23.3% from Q2. Daily chain fees were about $830,224, with $1.74 billion in DEX volume. Bitquery found bots made 66%–77% of swaps but only 1%–3% of traders.
Retail traders, developers, and stablecoin users may benefit from low fees and busy networks, since transfers and swaps can stay inexpensive. Yet bot-driven activity could make headline address and transaction counts look stronger than genuine human adoption. If investors or builders treat those figures as reliable demand signals, they may misjudge Solana’s real user base, which could affect funding, product decisions, and expectations about long-term utility.
