Retailers open preorders for Apple's latest home devices

Apple's HomeView, HomePod mini 2, and fourth-generation Apple TV 4K are now available for preorder at retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H Photo. The HomeView and Apple TV 4K are priced at $299 and are expected to arrive November 13, while the HomePod mini 2 costs $149 and launches October 30. Some options, such as the wall-mounted HomeView, may only be available through Apple.
Apple has unveiled three home-oriented devices, and major retailers are taking advance orders. Amazon lists the HomeView in four colors at $299, with delivery expected November 13; the wall-mounted model is not offered there and points shoppers to Apple. Best Buy and B&H Photo also accept HomeView orders, with store pickup available.
The fourth-generation Apple TV 4K costs $299 and arrives November 13, adding an A19 chip, Siri AI, and a revised Siri Remote with Find My. The HomePod mini 2 costs $149 and launches October 30, with Best Buy offering free launch-day store pickup.
The rollout may give households more choices for connected living, especially those already using Apple devices. The lower-priced HomePod mini 2 could widen access to voice assistants and smart-home controls, while the $299 devices may appeal to entertainment-focused buyers. Retail preorder competition could affect shipping and store pickup habits. Privacy and compatibility concerns may shape adoption, but the broader impact remains uncertain.
