Universal Vapor Jet Corp Introduces NovaJet Printing System

Universal Vapor Jet Corporation, a subsidiary of Universal Display Corporation, launched NovaJet, its first commercial system based on the Universal Vapor Jet Printing platform. The system is available for order and can be deployed at customer sites, allowing users to deposit functional materials onto substrates such as silicon wafers, glass, polymers, and metals. It was developed and built in Singapore and is intended to help customers move from materials research and process validation toward manufacturing.
UVJC, a wholly owned arm of Universal Display Corporation, has introduced NovaJet as its first commercially offered tool built around its proprietary Universal Vapor Jet Printing technology. The equipment is orderable and intended for installation at customer locations, where it can place functional materials directly on silicon wafers, glass, polymers, and metals. It was created and assembled in Singapore.
The platform is aimed at semiconductor, electronics, and other advanced manufacturing uses. It performs dry, solvent-free patterned deposition without masks or standard lithography, combining several thin-film development steps on one platform. UVJC is displaying NovaJet at the WESEMiBAY Semiconductor Ecosystem Conference and Expo in Shenzhen, Booth 8G03, with coated substrates, printed samples, and a scale model.
NovaJet may affect materials researchers, process engineers, and advanced manufacturers by making it easier to test functional-material deposition before scaling. If such dry, solvent-free methods reduce process steps or solvent use, they could influence semiconductor and electronics production, potentially lowering some environmental burdens and speeding development cycles. Broader society may see indirect effects through devices made with these materials, though actual impact depends on adoption, performance, and cost.
