Oracle Launches Fusion Claw to Help Businesses Automate Complex Work
Oracle introduced Fusion Claw, an execution runtime for Oracle Fusion Agentic Applications that combines AI reasoning with enterprise computation. The company says the system can support tasks such as deep research, simulations, and continuous planning, with 25 Claw-powered applications for areas including finance, HR, supply chain, and sales. Oracle positions the tool as a way for businesses to move from AI assistance toward fuller execution of critical processes.
Oracle launched Fusion Claw on Sept. 29, 2026, as a runtime for executing work within its Fusion Agentic Applications. The system combines AI-driven reasoning with predictable business computing, and Oracle says it can handle research-intensive work, scenario modeling, and ongoing planning. It also includes 25 applications across finance, HR, supply chain, and sales.
Examples include a ledger tool for reconciling accounting records, a staffing tool for adaptable workforce plans, a shipping tool for modeling consolidation costs, and a sales-territory tool for comparing coverage options. Oracle also describes an operating framework that sets objectives, policies, and approvals, plus outcome receipts that document completed work for audit purposes.
Fusion Claw could affect small businesses by automating finance, staffing, shipping, and sales planning tasks, potentially freeing staff for customer-facing and growth work. Employees in those functions may see roles shift toward oversight, exception handling, and governance. Adoption may require training and infrastructure spending, so benefits could vary by firm size and readiness. Customers might gain from faster planning and fewer errors, though reliance on autonomous processes may raise accountability questions that organizations will need to manage.
