CMF enters portable audio with milk-carton speakers
CMF has launched its first portable Bluetooth speakers, the Speaker S and Speaker M, both styled like colorful milk cartons. The $59 S and $109 M offer IP68 protection, Bluetooth 6.0, up to 18 hours of playback, USB-C audio input, NFC pairing, and Auracast support. Two units of the same model can be paired, and CMF plans to release design files for 3D-printed accessories.
CMF, sibling brand to Nothing, had not previously offered portable speakers. Its debut lineup includes the Speaker S at $59 and Speaker M at $109, each resembling a bright milk carton. Color choices are orange, turquoise, and white, with interchangeable cover plates and knobs. The knob handles volume, track skipping, and rewinding, while a top-corner opening allows bag or tent attachment.
The compact S uses a 45mm full-range driver plus passive radiators for low-end reinforcement. The taller M adds a 10W tweeter, dual drivers, and a 25W woofer. Both provide Bluetooth 6.0, IP68 protection, up to 18 hours playback, USB-C charging/audio input, NFC pairing, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, and Auracast. Same-model pairing is supported, but S and M cannot mix.
