Troye Sivan and Role Model Dance Together in 'Cowboy' TikTok
Troye Sivan shared a TikTok on Oct. 13 in which he and Role Model dance to 'Cowboy' from Sivan's new album She's the Best. Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, once used the Saint Laurent Cowboy persona, making the pairing a fitting full-circle moment for fans. Role Model's Chuck Timely & The Hourglass reached the top 10 of the Billboard 200 in August, while Sivan's She's the Best followed his 2023 album Something to Give Each Other.
Sivan posted the clip on Oct. 13, tagging Pillsbury and adding cowboy emojis. The two dance to “Cowboy,” a cut from Sivan’s new record She’s the Best. Pillsbury’s earlier Saint Laurent Cowboy identity makes the pairing notable for followers who have tracked his shifting stage personas.
Pillsbury also put the video on his Instagram Story and shared a fan post joking that the pair were Clairo and Sivan, adding “SAN DIEGO TONIGHT” for his tour date. His Chuck Timely & The Hourglass cracked the Billboard 200’s top 10 in August. Sivan’s prior album, Something to Give Each Other, reached No. 20 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on Top Dance/Electronic Albums.
This cross-platform moment may strengthen engagement among Sivan and Role Model fans, especially those who follow pop culture on TikTok and Instagram. The playful fandom joke could reinforce community bonds around Role Model's changing personas. For casual listeners, the clip may serve as a low-pressure introduction to She's the Best and Chuck Timely & The Hourglass, potentially nudging streaming or tour interest. Its impact may remain cultural and commercial rather than broadly societal.
