LISA Reveals 'Tarantino' Single From Upcoming 'Press Play' EP
BLACKPINK's LISA announced that her next single, 'Tarantino,' will arrive on Oct. 23 as part of her Press Play EP. She shared the cover art and a snippet on TikTok, where she sings about long nails and lipstick over heavy percussion. The track follows 'SaWaDiKa,' and LISA is also preparing for a Las Vegas residency after releasing the documentary Always Lalisa.
LISA, a member of BLACKPINK, will release "Tarantino" as the second track from her Press Play EP. She revealed the news on Oct. 14, with the single and EP both set for Oct. 23. The cover shows her face concealed by a red envelope, and a TikTok preview features lyrics about lengthy nails and lipstick over strong percussion.
The song follows "SaWaDiKa," which reached No. 69 on the Hot 100 and No. 23 on the Global 200. Her 2025 solo debut Alter Ego peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200. She also released the Always Lalisa documentary, premiered at TIFF, and will begin a Caesars Palace residency Nov. 12.
LISA's announcement may heighten anticipation among BLACKPINK fans and solo K-pop listeners, potentially driving streaming, TikTok engagement, and ticket interest. The Las Vegas residency could attract international visitors and benefit local entertainment venues. The documentary may expand her reach beyond music audiences, while chart results and media attention may influence how labels and fans view future solo projects by K-pop artists.
