007 First Light Gets Nintendo Switch 2 Launch Date and Pre-order Bonus

007 First Light will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 nearly a year after its debut on PS5, PC, and Xbox. Developed by IO Interactive, the game has already sold more than 4 million copies worldwide. A pre-order bonus has also been announced for the Switch 2 version.
The Switch 2 edition arrives March 18, 2027. It follows the game's earlier PS5, PC, and Xbox launch and brings the same Deluxe Edition extras: four outfits—Day of the Dead, Desert Explorer, Gentleman Operator, and Silent Anchor—plus the Agent's Mark pistol and Gleaming Pack. Pre-ordering adds the GoldenEye Suit, a nod to Pierce Brosnan's 1995 film look and the N64 title.
IO Interactive's early-career Bond adventure shifted away from first-person shooting toward third-person action and exploration. It has surpassed four million sales worldwide. On Switch 2, the release uses a Game-Key Card rather than a standard physical cartridge.
Switch 2 owners and Bond fans could gain access to a major action title that already found a broad audience elsewhere. The staggered release may extend the game's commercial life and sustain online discussion, while the GoldenEye Suit pre-order bonus may appeal to nostalgia-driven buyers. Because the Switch 2 edition uses a Game-Key Card, it may also influence how some players view physical ownership and preservation. Overall, the effects are likely cultural and consumer-focused, not sweeping social change.
