Enviro Infra unit wins Rs 2.28 billion wind EPC deal in Maharashtra
Enviro Infra Engineers, through its subsidiary Suyog Urja, has received a letter of intent from ARIE Energy for turnkey EPC work on a 100 MW wind project in Latur district, Maharashtra. The contract is valued at Rs 2.28 billion and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2027. The article also mentions a previous 180 MW NTPC wind EPC letter of intent from Tata Power Renewable Energy and the acquisition of Suyog Urja.
Enviro Infra Engineers’ subsidiary Suyog Urja has received an LoI from ARIE Energy for full EPC services on a 100 MW wind farm in Ajani, within Shirur Anantpal taluka, Latur district, Maharashtra. The work carries a Rs 2.28 billion value and is slated for completion by 31 July 2027.
This follows a September 2026 LoI to Suyog Urja from Tata Power Renewable Energy for EPC on a 180 MW NTPC wind project at Parli, Maharashtra, valued at Rs 2.24 billion and due by 31 March 2027. In April 2026, Enviro Infra agreed to buy all of Suyog Urja through EIE Renewables.
The project may support local construction and operations jobs in Latur, and could add wind capacity to Maharashtra’s grid, potentially improving energy diversity. Landowners, nearby communities, and power consumers may see varied effects, from lease income and infrastructure changes to possible disruptions during construction. Supply-chain firms and skilled workers could benefit. Actual social outcomes depend on implementation, grid readiness, and community engagement.
