HR platform ZenHR expands Egyptian presence with Cairo office and investment plan

Riyadh-based HR and payroll software provider ZenHR has opened its sixth regional office in Cairo. The company plans to invest more than 150 million Egyptian pounds over two years to grow its local team and services. It aims to serve medium and large firms and government entities, with its platform adapted to Egyptian labor and payroll rules.
ZenHR, whose main base is Riyadh, has added Cairo as its sixth regional site after roughly a decade of serving Egyptian clients. CEO Youssef Shimon said the firm will commit more than EGP 150 million across the next two years to enlarge its local staff and broaden services.
The company is courting mid-sized and large industrial, retail, service and technology businesses, plus government bodies. Its system handles Egyptian payroll rules, including the 2025 labor law, tax, social insurance, overtime, end-of-service benefits and attendance-linked pay, and is offered in Arabic and English with a mobile app.
The Cairo expansion could affect Egyptian HR teams and employees at larger firms and public bodies by making payroll and benefits administration more automated and consistent. Workers may see faster, more transparent salary processing and easier access to insurance or digital wage cards through partnerships. Smaller employers may feel pressure to adopt similar tools, while reliance on digital payroll could raise practical questions about access and data handling.
