American spot Bitcoin funds took in $549.76 million across Monday and Tuesday. Monday accounted for $526.6 million, while Tuesday slowed to $23.16 million. BlackRock’s IBIT added $29.86 million Tuesday after receiving $665.16 million Monday, offsetting outflows at Fidelity and Grayscale. Fidelity’s FBTC gained $3.58 million Tuesday; Bitwise’s BITB lost $10.29 million.
The two-day inflow more than doubled the prior week’s roughly $228.6 million in net withdrawals, though it followed about $910 million of outflows over two weeks. Bitcoin ETF trading reached $1.92 billion Tuesday, with net assets at $106.28 billion, about 6.38% of Bitcoin’s market value. Ether funds lost $129.41 million over the same two sessions.
The flows may mainly affect investors and institutions using regulated crypto products, shaping sentiment and liquidity for Bitcoin and Ether. Retail savers exposed to crypto could see sharper price swings, while financial firms tied to ETF trading and custody may benefit from higher activity. Broader society may feel indirect effects through crypto’s links to fintech and retirement portfolios, though these two sessions alone are unlikely to change everyday financial conditions.
