RocketWerkz opens its BRUTAL C# framework to all game makers

RocketWerkz has released its C# framework BRUTAL for all developers. The tool is aimed at teams seeking greater control over their game code.
BRUTAL is a C# framework that RocketWerkz and Ahwoo have now made publicly available as open source. Both firms were started by Dean Hall, who has DayZ experience. RocketWerkz made Icarus and Kitten Space Agency; Ahwoo runs a games platform.
It gives creators another route besides relying on external engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or Godot. The target is teams wanting tighter command of their programming.
The release could lower barriers for small studios and independent developers exploring alternatives to mainstream engines, potentially giving them more say over technical decisions. Players may see more varied tools and workflows behind games, though the effect on actual game quality is uncertain. Wider adoption could also influence how C# is used in game production and how open-source frameworks are perceived, but only if teams find it practical and well supported.
