ABC Stations Add Another Season of Home for Good

Hearst Media Production Group’s home-and-life safety series “Home for Good” has been renewed for a second season. It will begin airing on ABC stations on January 9 as part of the “Weekend Adventure” block. Hosted by Art Edmonds, the show renovates spaces for community helpers and will continue to spotlight first responders, educators, mentors and volunteers.
The home-and-life safety program “Home for Good” will return for a second season on ABC stations starting Jan. 9. Hearst Media Production Group produces it with Epic Entertainment and Media Group and Kidde, and it sits within the stations’ “Weekend Adventure” educational/informational lineup.
Art Edmonds hosts the half-hour show, which remodels rooms or personal areas for people who serve their communities. The new season will keep highlighting first responders and add educators, mentors, volunteers and other service workers who assist families in need.
The renewal may give ABC station audiences another familiar weekend option while spotlighting local helpers whose work often goes unnoticed. Featured first responders, educators, mentors and volunteers could see morale and public recognition grow, and families in need may benefit if the renovations and safety lessons encourage community support. Its impact likely remains modest, depending on viewership and local station promotion.
