A drone struck a home in Zhytomyr Oblast on Oct. 22, injuring nine people, among them two children. Two were hospitalized; officials said the full extent of injuries was unclear. The regional governor called the attack intentional violence against civilians. Zhytomyr city, home to over 200,000 people in northwestern Ukraine, has seen repeated strikes on its power sites.

In Sumy Oblast, officials said a large drone attack on public infrastructure injured two. Earlier this month, strikes on power sites caused repeated electricity and water cuts in Kyiv and communities near the front line.
