BeOne Highlights Early and Phase 3 Oncology Data at ESMO 2026

BeOne Medicines shared updates from three early-stage programs and an active Phase 3 breast cancer study at ESMO 2026. In liver cancer, its GPC3 x 4-1BB bispecific produced a 36% confirmed response rate at the Phase 3 dose among patients who had received extensive prior treatment, and the safety profile looked manageable. Early findings also covered a brain-penetrant PRMT5 inhibitor and a CEA-targeting ADC in lung cancer.
BeOne Medicines presented at ESMO 2026 results from three early-stage programs and one worldwide Phase 3 breast cancer study. Its liver-cancer candidate BGB-B2033, a GPC3×4-1BB bispecific, was studied in 94 people with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma; 93.6% had prior PD-(L)1 treatment and 61.7% had also received a TKI. At 450 mg every three weeks, the confirmed response rate was 36.0%, and the estimated six-month confirmed duration-of-response rate was 74.1%.
It also reported early findings for a brain-penetrant PRMT5 inhibitor in MTAP-deficient tumors and a CEA-targeting ADC in CEA-high NSCLC. The KANDELA-302 breast cancer trial is testing a CDK4 inhibitor and continues to enroll globally.
For patients with advanced liver or lung cancers that have progressed after existing therapies, these early findings could eventually broaden treatment options, though Phase 1 response rates do not establish benefit. Clinicians and caregivers may gain more ways to discuss tumor biology and trial participation. If any candidate reaches approval, payers and health systems could face access, pricing, and capacity questions.
