Actor Chris Evans has sold his contemporary Hollywood Hills home for approximately $5.4 million, a price well below its initial listing of nearly $7 million. The 4,600-square-foot property, which he bought in 2013 for $3.5 million, includes a gym where he trained for his Captain America role and offers expansive mountain and canyon views. Evans cited a desire to spend more time on the East Coast near family as the reason for the sale.

The sale concludes a lengthy marketing period that began with a nearly $7 million asking price in May 2025, followed by a reduction to roughly $6.4 million before closing at $5.4 million. Evans purchased the 1940-built residence in 2013 for $3.5 million, meaning he still realized a substantial gain despite the price cuts. The property spans 4,600 square feet across four bedrooms and six bathrooms, with a primary suite featuring a limestone and Calacatta marble bath, steam shower, and radiant heated floors. A separate guesthouse includes a kitchen, office, and the gym where Evans trained for his Captain America role. The 0.76-acre lot offers terraced gardens, stone pathways, and a pool and spa overlooking Laurel Canyon.
