NLC Wins Haryana Storage Tender; NTPC Green Starts Bikaner Solar; Purvah Signs Wind PPA
NLC India Renewables secured a 265 MW/530 MWh standalone battery storage project in Haryana through an SJVN tender, with a two-hour system to serve Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam. NTPC Green Energy began commercial operation of the first 81.34 MW of its Kalasar solar project in Bikaner, raising its group operating capacity to 11,058.57 MW. Purvah Green Power signed a 25-year power purchase agreement with Prism Johnson for a 49.5 MW captive wind farm in Madhya Pradesh, with Prism investing up to ₹40 crore for a 26.5% stake.
