Leaked Details Cover Apple's Upcoming HomeView, Apple TV 4K, and HomePod Mini

Before Apple's New York "Welcome home" event, Mark Gurman shared many details about the company's upcoming home products. The leak describes a smart home hub called HomeView with an A18 chip, Siri AI support, tabletop and wall-mounted designs, and a related Apple Home Collection of accessories. It also covers a new HomePod mini using the S10 chip and a new Apple TV 4K with an A19 chip, possible built-in microphones, and a redesigned Siri Remote with a speaker.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple’s upcoming home lineup includes HomeView, a hub with an A18 chip and Siri AI. It reportedly comes as a tabletop model with a metal speaker base or a square wall-mounted version. It may launch around mid-November, offer select Apple apps but no third-party app store, and pair with an Apple Home Collection of cameras, locks, sensors, and a doorbell.
The next HomePod mini is said to use the S10 chip and come in green, pink, blue, white, and midnight. The new Apple TV 4K may use an A19 chip, add built-in microphones, and include a Siri Remote with a speaker. Both are expected to be shown October 13 and released October 30.
If accurate, these devices could deepen Apple’s role in households, affecting families, renters, older adults, and smart-home enthusiasts who may rely more on voice assistants and connected sensors. A hub without third-party apps may limit choice, while bundled accessories could simplify setup but increase ecosystem lock-in. Privacy, accessibility, and interoperability may become more prominent concerns as more home routines depend on always-listening or camera-equipped gadgets.
