Telia posts higher Q3 sales and profit, lifts 2026 outlook

Telia’s third-quarter revenue increased 7.3% to SEK 21.3 billion, with growth in Sweden, Norway and the Baltic markets. Net profit rose 14.2% to SEK 2.91 billion, and free cash flow improved to SEK 3.73 billion. The operator raised its 2026 financial outlook and continued investing in 5G, fiber, AI and digital services.
Telia's Q3 2026 service revenue was SEK 18.02 billion, while adjusted EBITDA reached SEK 8.87 billion and operating income SEK 4.38 billion. Capital expenditure totaled SEK 2.87 billion, and free cash flow came in at SEK 3.73 billion.
Sweden contributed SEK 9.61 billion in quarterly revenue. The Bredband2 acquisition lifted Swedish broadband subscriptions to 1.958 million. Lithuania's service revenue grew 6.4%, Estonia's mobile service revenue rose 6.3%, while Finland's mobile service revenue fell 3.9%.
Telia’s stronger cash flow and raised outlook may support continued 5G and fiber build-outs, potentially improving coverage and service quality for households and businesses in its Nordic and Baltic markets. The Bredband2 consolidation could expand bundled offerings, though it may also reshape local broadband competition. AI and digital-service investment may affect how customers interact with telecom services and how enterprises adopt connectivity tools. Effects may vary by market, especially where mobile revenue is under pressure.
