Snayx reveal debut album Greed and share anti-manosphere track Gold Star

Brighton alt-punk band Snayx will release their debut album 'Greed' on February 19 via Nettwerk Music Group. The 13-track record examines different forms of wanting more and includes previously shared singles. Their new song 'Gold Star' targets online 'manosphere' figures who treat wealth as a substitute for personality.
Brighton trio Snayx will issue their first full-length, Greed, on February 19 through Nettwerk Music Group. The 13-song collection gathers earlier tracks such as “Lost Cause,” “Nice Day 4 It,” “Strut,” and “Brain Cellz,” while examining varied cravings—money, power, status, attention, pleasure, possessions, and love—plus social media dependence, harmful habits, and excessive wealth.
The record broadens their industrial-punk foundation with electronic and psychedelic touches, developed alongside Tigercub’s Jamie Hall and NOISY’s Spencer Tobias-Williams. New single “Gold Star,” co-written with Jordan Fish, criticizes online figures who equate cash with character. A UK/European headline tour begins in March 2027, with tickets available from October 16 at 10am BST.
The single’s critique of wealth-as-personality may resonate with listeners who encounter similar online rhetoric, while prompting discussion about how music can challenge influencer culture. Its release could raise Snayx’s profile among punk and alternative audiences, and the album’s broader themes may encourage reflection on consumption, status, and social media habits. However, its impact may remain cultural and conversational rather than directly changing platforms or behavior.
