On October 23, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $137.94 million in net withdrawals, after $635.49 million the prior day, for a two-session total of $773.43 million, according to SoSoValue. BlackRock’s IBIT lost $110.34 million, Fidelity’s FBTC shed $31.78 million, and Morgan Stanley’s MSBT gained $4.19 million. Weekly flows stayed positive at about $228.2 million.
Franklin Templeton received Nasdaq approval for two Bitcoin-focused ETFs. The $1.8 trillion asset manager’s products combine U.S. equity exposure with gradual Bitcoin accumulation and do not directly track spot BTC. Bitcoin traded near $80,550, down 1.32%, above its 100-day average around $77,500 and 200-day average around $76,200.
The outflows could affect retail and institutional investors holding Bitcoin or ETF shares, potentially deepening caution if prices test $80,000. Because leveraged positions may accelerate selling, volatility could spill into broader crypto sentiment and related financial products. Franklin Templeton’s new ETFs may offer another regulated route to partial Bitcoin exposure, though their equity-linked structure could suit different risk profiles. Observers may watch whether weekly inflows continue to offset short-term withdrawals.
